Our final meet of the season will be our Senior Night! We're looking forward to celebrating this little cutie. Any guesses who it is? 

Time Line:

• 4:00pm - Smoketree Pool Closes; Meet Set-Up Volunteers arrive to begin set-up
• 4:30pm-4:45pm - Smoketree families arrive; volunteers check-in with Juanita Fitzgerald
• 5:00pm - Smoketree Team Photo
• 5:10pm - Woodland Pond Warm Ups
• 5:15pm - S&T Official’s Meeting (all first and second half officials must attend); Timer's Meeting
• 5:20pm - First events called to Clerk of Course
• 5:28pm - National Anthem
• 5:30pm - Meets Begins (early start to preempt weather)

Seating and Clerk or Course:

Smoketree will have full use of the the pool between the lifeguard and Hungry Marlins buildings. We recommend bringing chairs, tents, blankets, sunscreen and coolers.

Woodland Pond will have the area of the pool deck on the right of the entrace between the lifeguard building and the diving board, as well as the grassy area behind the blocks. Please DO NOT set up in this space - we will be blocking it off to ensure our guests have an area to call their own.

Clerk of course will be set up by the kiddie pool. The kiddie pool will be closed during the meet.

Concessions:

Come hungry! The menu includes burgers, cheeseburgers, and hotdogs, as well as snacks and drinks. They accept CASH (preferred) and cards.

Queensmill Recreation Association is only about 10 minutes away and accessible via Lucks Lane.

They have reserved the paved lot for us with spillover on street parking (see grey area on map). They've asked their team to park in the grassy lot, but there may be some spots there for us as well. Please be on the lookout for parking attendants who will direct you.

• Arrive and set-up: 5:30pm
• QM warm ups: 5:40 – 6:00pm
• Your warmups: 6:00 – 6:20pm
• Timer and Strokes + Turns Meeting at Announcer's Table: 6:15pm
• Meet begins: 6:30pm

Pool Deck/ Observation Details:

We have a small pool deck. We have designated spots for your team on the attached map including the pavilion. There is overflow seating in the grassy area outside of the pool deck. Please bring your own chairs and possibly a pop up tent depending on the weather. We also have picnic tables available for your use in the pavilion.

Food/ Concessions:

They have a FABULOUS concessions area so come hungry! Burgers, dogs, grilled chicken sandwiches, baked potatoes, macaroni and cheese, fresh fruit, baked goods, candy, chips, sodas, water, and sports drinks. Payment is with cash, Venmo, Tap to Pay, credit card, etc. There will also be a Kona Ice truck.

Address and parking - 

Our clubhouse address is 3500 Ashwell Drive, Midlothian, Virginia 23113. The pool is actually located off Sherfield Drive. Specific directions are on our website TarringtonTigerSharks.swimtopia.com.

Parking - 

To get to the larger parking lot for the pool, go through the traffic circle in front of the clubhouse, and then take your first left onto Sherfield Drive. The parking lot will be down the hill, and on the left. If both lots are full, please feel free to park on Sherfield Drive (over on the pool side of the street, to avoid blocking traffic) or on Ashwell Drive. We usually don't have a problem with sufficient parking, but if your team has any issues, please let us know. Please do not park in the traffic circle as emergency vehicles will not be able to pass, and CCPD will tow.

Pool Seating - 

Make yourself at home! When you enter the pool area from the lower parking lot, feel free to have your fans set up on the left-hand side of the lap pool (the side with waterslides). There is also a gate on that side of the pool that opens up onto a grassy area along Sherfield Drive. You are welcome to use that grassy area as spillover seating. Your on-deck seating area also extends back into the space around the separate "adult pool." There are some chairs already on deck, but we would encourage you to bring blankets and/or camp chairs as well, just to make sure that everyone is comfortable. You are also free to bring tents or umbrellas if you would like—there is a pergola, and a few umbrellas are scattered around the pool, but they are limited in number—and so is the shade. We do ask you to let your families know not to drag around the chairs and tables—we try to leave them in the approximate area they are already located.

Schedule - 

• Warm-ups: Smoketree warm-ups will be from 5:55pm to 6:15 p.m. 
• Timers' meeting and stroke and turn officials' meeting will be at 6:10 p.m.
• The clerk of course will begin calling events at 6:15 p.m.
• National Anthem at 6:25pm.

Food - 

Come hungry! We will have a food truck, Kristen’s Kitchen, and Kona ICE, as well as a variety of concessions. The concessions will be set up in the baby pool.

Theme - 

The theme for this week is favorite team! Wear your favorite jersey, t-shirt, or hat to represent as we celebrate our seniors!

Summer Lake is prepping for a FAST meet! They have an 8 lane pool and will utilize dive overs for all 9 and up swimmers.

Situated near RoundTrey, this pool is about a 20 minute drive.

Time Line:

• 5:00 - Arrive at Summer Lake
• 5:25-5:45 - Summer Lake Warm Ups
• 5:50-6:10 - Smoketree Warm Ups
• 6:05 S&T Official’s Meeting (all first and second half officials must attend)
• 6:10 Timer’s Meeting
• 6:15 First event gets called to Clerk of Course
• 6:25 First event is behind blocks ready to go
• 6:25 Anthem is played with Ripple Race (developmental swimmers race) following anthem
• 6:30 Start

Seating and Clerk or Course:

Smoketree will have full use of the tennis courts, which are directly behind the pool. At arrival, please come go through the front gate of the pool and SL will direct us to the gate leading to the tennis courts. We recommend bringing chairs, tents, blankets, sunscreen and coolers.

They have a covered upper deck that is a great spot for spectators. Spectators can also watch from the area close to the entry gate near the diving well.

Clerk of course will be set up by the kiddie pool. The kiddie pool will be closed during the meet.

Come hungry! The menu includes burgers, hotdogs and cheese quesadillas, as well as snacks and drinks. They accept cash and cards. **Kona Ice will also be there for a sweet treat.
